Its hard to believe its time for another Buddy Walk for "Rusty"! She has had a great year at pre-school, making some wonderful friends and becoming more of a leader as one of the graduating pre-schoolers. She loves swimming, wants to pedal her bike without any adult help, and has even tried playing soccer with some of her future kindergarten classmates.
The Buddy Walk is the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati's signature fundraising and awareness event every year – where so many come together to celebrate the many lives of people with Down syndrome in our community. With over 15,000 participants, donors and volunteers who support the DSAGC through the Buddy Walk, know that you have an opportunity to play a important role in how the DSAGC works to support individuals with Down syndrome and their families throughout the year.
The funds raised through the Buddy Walk each year provides 50% of the resources needed to fulfill its mission to empower individuals, educate families, enhance communities and together, celebrate the extraordinary lives of people with Down syndrome.
