The DSAGC organizes a variety of events for our Down syndrome community throughout the year. Our events attract long-time supporters, new families and friends as well as many people, who have merely been touched by an individual with Down syndrome and want to express their loyalty. When members of the Down syndrome community see businesses supporting individuals with disabilities, their consumer behavior is affected in a positive way as both a return customer and fan.
We encourage you to consider becoming a sponsor of the Buddy Walk in 2017. Your brand will receive maximum exposure and your commitment will resonate deeply within the Down syndrome community and beyond.
We are restructuring our Vendor area for 2018! NEW THIS YEAR - VENDOR VILLAGE!
Here's what we can tell you:
♦ Vendors will receive a designated 10 x 10 tented booth with plank counters, an 6 foot table, and 2 chairs
♦ Vendors will be able to hand out literature, talk with participants, distribute free samples, and other promotional items
♦ Vendors can bring company signage and have it displayed on or inside your tent
♦ We will let participants know about your participation in our Buddy Walk Brief (eNewsletters sent to registrants).
♦ Vendors are permitted to sell items however because this is a "free" event for our participants, we do not encourage it.
Our event attracts over 12,000 people each year and in an effort to highlight our vendors and make sure they receive maximum exposure at our event, we have created Vendor Village (VV). VV will be located out in Yeatman's Cove as part of our walk Pre Party. This begins at 9:00 am and we expect vendor booths to be fully staffed and ready to go by 8:30 that morning.
Vendor booth opportunities are on a first come, first serve basis.
