Golf Tournament History

When Gus Bell passed away in 1995, their family chose the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati (DSAGC) for his memorial gifts because of his great love for his granddaughter, Traci, who was born with Down syndrome.  It was the overwhelming response to this request that inspired us to have a golf tournament, not only to honor Gus Bell, but also to raise the level of awareness about Down syndrome in our community. The Bell family worked tirelessly on this tournament for 11 years and for that, we are extremely grateful. The tournament continued with the help of Dave Lapham, Tom Gregory, Bill McCloy and many friends along the way.

This June will mark our 21st tournament.  To date we have raised over $1 million dollars for the DSAGC through this event. A special congratulations and appreciation goes out to our committe members, sponsors, golfers, volunteers and the community for this astounding accomplishment and legacy that will continue for many years to come!

Whether it be your first tournament with us or your 10th, we hope you leave the day feeling good about your time spent with us.  Thank you for your support!
